The Ember Workshop Series is an in-person, accountability-driven program for small business owners in the City of Warren who have been operating for 2+ years.
Ember is designed to help you:

- Strengthen your foundation before taking on advanced strategies

Here's what you need to know
Who can apply?
We’re looking for business owners with real-world experience who meet the following:
- Own a business that has been operating for 2+ years
- Have a business registered and in good standing with the Ohio Secretary of State
- Are ready to commit fully—attending all sessions, completing assignments, and actively participating in the program
When is the application deadline?
The deadline is May 9, 2025.
We’re reviewing applications as they come in, and the class may fill before that date. Apply early for the best chance at a spot.
When does the workshop start?
The first cohort begins on May 31, 2025. Space is limited—Apply now.
What is the time commitment?
Ember runs for six weeks, with in-person sessions every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Is there a fee?
There is no fee to apply. For selected applicants, there is a one-time $25 administrative fee. The fee should be paid before the first workshop. This helps cover materials, tools, and refreshments provided during the program. It also reflects a shared investment in creating a focused, well-supported learning environment.
How are applicants selected?
A selection committee reviews applications. All applicants will be notified by email whether or not they have been selected for the program.
Where will the sessions take place?
All sessions will be held in person in downtown Warren, Ohio. Full location details will be shared with selected participants.
